Bridge to Terabithia
Novel Study Guide - Grades 5 to 6 - eBook - Lesson Plan
Description
See CC2501 for the printed copy.
Travel to an imaginary land to discover the true power of friendship and the heartache of loss. Provide open-ended application and journal prompts to excite students about the reading. Make a prediction on what the story will be about based solely on the front cover of the novel. Put events in order that led to the creation of Terabithia. Find the meaning of vocabulary words, then use each word in a sentence. Students describe how they would respond to someone bullying them. Then, students create their own imaginary place like Terabithia. Keep track of events as they happen month by month in the novel with an Events Calendar graphic organizer. Aligned to your State Standards, additional crossword, word search, comprehension quiz and answer key are also included.

It is so wonderful to be able to find this. It makes my job so much easier to have something so creative at my fingertips. This was rigorous and enjoyable to complete as we read one of our favorite books!

Great resource to use with the book!
I love the before and after tasks
Just what I was looking for! Excellent resource! Thank you!
AMAZING!
Very straightforward & a nice addition to my resources for this novel.
Love this
I really liked this product. Solely due to my needs, I felt the "before reading" activities were a little more difficult so I kept it to the after reading activities. I think I could use the before reading activities with a higher class like 6th graders - I have a 4/5 combo. Otherwise, a great resource - thank you!
Good resource for a great book!
Thanks for the great resource to help study this novel!

Great resource!
I love this book because it gives the students extra work for the novel. It gives them a chance to really delve into the novel with comprehension questions and vocabulary to strengthen their comprehension and it allows for classroom discussion.
Great job! Thank you.
So helpful for my first literature circle.
I found these resources invaluable in my classroom! Both the before reading and after reading. As we read the book over a term, the children quite enjoyed the challenge of the quiz at the end to see how many of them remembered all of the answers. :) The winners of the quiz were very pleased with themselves. Thank you for a really useful resource!
I really liked this product. Solely due to my needs, I felt the "before reading" activities were a little more difficult so I kept it to the after reading activities.
The second work booklet I have purchased, this style is great for whole class and individual work. There is enough work to last terms! Thanks again
This was a life saver for my classroom reader this quarter. I loved the vocabulary and the before reading and after reading worksheets.
