In our unit, students hop, skip, and jump around the Pacific Rim. It is an in-depth study covering a broad range of topics from basic geography, mapping skills, climate studies and resources to types of government — all as they relate to the twenty-four nations of the Pacific Rim. Students will gain a new understanding of the emerging trade powerhouse. In our unit, students learn all about the Pacific Rim using a structured format. Exciting activities related to each of the lesson topics are used to "cement in" concepts. Student notes are used in conjunction with related student activities. This Canada lesson provides a teacher and student section with a variety of reading passages, activities, crossword, word search, exam and answer key to create a well-rounded lesson plan.
